This #OnlineSafetyBill has nothing to do with “online safety” and everything to do with control, censorship and criminalization of #FreeSpeech.
In theory this bill will give government absolute reign on what the public is “permitted” to see and find online. It is to completely control what an individual is “permitted” to express online and anything that is perceived “dangerous” against government narrative will be criminalised. The reality really is that government will in fact hand big tech unfathomable power of censorship and data mining.
It’s simple. Standing up in solidarity fighting for justice, equality, inclusivity are the fundamental principles of our inalienable #HumanRights & on the threshold to be “legally” CRIMINALIZED to destroy us.
If we in the so-called western world are suppressed and silenced by our governments, we will be the conditioned zombies of contemporary humanity. Unable to stop the unscrupulous reign of totalitarianism in our own countries. Due to our inhuman shackles of government reign of terror to silence dissent & threats of criminalization, we will be unable to work in solidarity globally for hundreds of millions of Voiceless.
Decades of progress for fundamental #HumanRights will be eradicated as if they never were. If we allow these dystopian measures now, our future generations, provided humanity survives, will never know and will not understand they are born with inalienable fundamental #HumanRights.

The online safety bill literally will abolish freedom of expression, our fundamental human right. The bill’s ambition is to not only take away access to the online treasure trove of information on every and any topic imaginable for any average person to research and ponder, but #OnlineSafetyBill will take away our fundamental human rights to our personal agency and individual autonomy.
Frankly this bill has nothing to do with “online safety” and everything to do with control, censorship and criminalization of #FreeSpeech. If this bill is made into law, those of us who have other purpose online than simply socialising may as well pack it in. The government will then have won and lost, because they’ll have lost their purpose for this authoritarian bill.
The primary argument this government puts forward to the point of weaponizing is the pretentious illusion of “online safety”, specifically for children whose parents are, or should be, responsible for ensuring online safety and the excuse of justification draconian censorship to allegedly “protect” vulnerable individuals from “bullying” and “offensive” online “harassment” or even “online stalking”.
It’s pathetic and absolutely ludicrous. Individuals who fear exposure to online “harassment” and are unable to deal by ignoring or blocking those individuals should consider not going online. Clearly online debates or opinions aren’t always for the faint of heart. And neither should they be. After all it is freedom of speech.
One of the most appalling, irresponsible and unjustifiable elements the government’s online safety bill intends to abolish is the individual right to end-to-end encryption that protects specifically vulnerable persons from being identified and located by those lurking online planning to do them harm. It is egregiously immoral and clearly a deliberate strategy for the government to censor and compromise anonymity and shred all privacy.”
